چکیده
Carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology deployment in developing Asian countries largely depends on public acceptance, which is highly dependent the stakeholders involved CCS. This paper illuminates how stakeholder issues could be strategically managed of CCS, a manner customized to such countries. Based input from 28 various interests nationalities (i.e., China, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia), this study applies Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) MICMAC analysis, order develop management model address regarding Our findings revealed eight legislative issues, four social three economic five technological environmental issues. Stakeholder Attitudes on Carbon Capture and Storage - an international comparison
Abstract This paper presents results from a survey on stakeholder attitudes towards Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). The survey is the first to make a global comparison across three major regions; USA, Japan, and Europe. The 30-question survey targeted individuals working at stakeholder organizations that seek to shape, and will need to respond to, policy on CCS, including electric utilities, ...
متن کاملCarbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS)
Carbon capture and sequestration (or storage)—known as CCS—has attracted interest as a measure for mitigating global climate change because large amounts of carbon dioxide (CO 2) emitted from fossil fuel use in the United States are potentially available to be captured and stored underground or prevented from reaching the atmosphere. Large, industrial sources of CO 2 , such as electricity-gener...

متن کاملBiorefineries of carbon dioxide: From carbon capture and storage (CCS) to bioenergies production.
Greenhouse gas emissions have several adverse environmental effects, like pollution and climate change. Currently applied carbon capture and storage (CCS) methods are not cost effective and have not been proven safe for long term sequestration. Another attractive approach is CO2 valorization, whereby CO2 can be captured in the form of biomass via photosynthesis and is subsequently converted int...
